Alight Graphic Designer in HR, Indiana

Graphic Designer, Creative Support Team (India)

The Graphic Designer will be directed by Alight’s Engagement Services’ communication and product experts who lead and support promotional communications for Alight’s enterprise-wide products. The designer’s primary role is to create and configure defined communication solutions using provided requirements, brand standards, design principles and image libraries with some customizations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates passion and the ability to collaborate and partner with others to create forward-thinking solutions

  • Ability to absorb an apply established look and feel and design standards for key deliverables for multiple client campaigns across multiple Alight products

  • Champion and adhere to defined design standards, ensuring consistency across deliverables within a campaign or product set

  • Configures defined communication templates, upholding defined standards, which can include brand guidelines, image libraries and specs

  • Recommend and consult around where modifications or adaptations to standards must be considered

  • Seek out, identify and propose process and quality improvements

  • Manages multiple projects and prioritize work to effectively meet project goals and deadlines

  • Regularly document progress and completion of work using collaboration, workflow and ticketing tools

  • Work efficiently, collaboratively and effectively with other creative process stakeholders such as team and project managers, product leaders, fellow designers, content developers and proofreaders.

  • Participates in brainstorming and creative sessions, while collaborating with creative directors, colleagues and client teams to inspire and develop creative solutions.

  • Can articulate communication goals, audience needs, and creative rationale to internal team members.

  • Practices continuous learning about the creative process, principles and techniques, and software programs and can teach others.

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum 5+ years of design experience (agency and in-house studio experience preferred)

  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity aligned closely with strategy

  • Ability to negotiate and make targeted decisions quickly to build credibility

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Able to understand individual project/team roles/responsibilities

  • Experience engaging with and presenting to stakeholders and clients as needed

  • Accountable for delivering with excellence and profitability

  • A master-level understanding of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, HTML, digital and emerging trends

  • Must have experience in XD (IN5 experience a plus)

  • A design portfolio with extensive digital work

  • Proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work spanning multiple platforms

  • Demonstrated knowledge of production and post-production process for digital and print

  • Any HR/Benefits experience a plus

  • Video experience is a plus

Education

  • BFA or BA in related field

  • Graduate degree in Media or Design a plus

Work Policy

  • Working in UK Shift from 12PM to 9PM

  • Hybrid Work Model Offered (3 Days/Week From Office)
