Our client in Hudson, NH is seeking a first shift, Plant Manager, this is a DIRECT hire role, with full benefits package. This is a plastic company that runs three shifts daily. The right candidate will have recent experience as a Plant manager in a medical device setting Also MUST have a background in Plastics injection molding Pay will be based on skill level and experience. 125-140K plus opportunity to bonus. Must Haves: plastics injection molding and medical device background EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Must have recent experience managing a medical manufacturing plant.

  • Proven record of delivering continuous improvements and results.

  • Must have proficient knowledge of profit loss statements and balance sheet financial reporting.

  • Proven record of implementing and operating within data driven or metrics driven management systems.

  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP system (DelmiaWorks a plus).

  • Solid understanding of lean and six sigma process. Certification preferred.

  • Familiar with ISO-13485 policies and procedures.

  • New Program Launch experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct production staff to ensure a high level of efficiency in production as well as ensuring preventive maintenance programs are executed.

  • Direct and coordinate sales, logistics and customer service staff to ensure cost efficiency as well as a high level of service to the customer base. Ensure customer requirements are met on a continual basis. Proactively work with customers to resolve issues

  • Manage the engineering activities for all product and process design and development of annual capital investment plan; develop justification for capital investments.

  • Develop, communicate, and execute an overall business unit strategy including capital needs, sales strategies, logistics, production plans, etc.

  • Able to manage key KPI metrics to identified targets. Direct changes in methods, planning and processing required to meet or exceed forecasts and control costs.

  • Analyzes plant expenses to identify areas in which reductions can be made.

  • Responsible for managing the overall Plant activities, including P&L performance. Responsible for managing financial results.

  • Influence positive change and continuous improvements using Lean and trained problem-solving methodologies.

  • Leads in the professional development of technical staff.

  • Develop, implement and train safety policies. Enforce safe work environment within the organization.

Skills

  • PLASTICS INJECTION MOLDING
