Job Summary

The CMF Wall Panel Designer is responsible for the accurate design of the wall panels for commercial and multifamily projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels utilizing adequate software
• Optimizes designs for maximum efficiency
• Reviews orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy
• Assists sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
• Ensures efficient resource utilization and initiates corrective action as required
• Prepares various reports as required
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum 7 years of experience in related field/responsibilities
• Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred
• Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
