Aerotek Electrical Technician in Hugo, Minnesota

Job Title: Electrical Technician: ($25-$30): HUGO, MN

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring new and used truck chassis, troubleshooting and testing before release. The role forms an essential part of our manufacturing process in the shop, following the mechanical assembly process. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical schematics/blueprints, performing routines pertaining to electronic components, ensuring all equipment meets quality standards for electrical assembly, and operating a variety of shop equipment safely. This role also includes testing completed equipment prior to shipment and handling other duties as assigned. The work schedule is 1st shift, working 4-10s and a half day Friday from 6:00-3:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 6am-12pm on Friday.

Hard Skills

  • Understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints

  • Knowledge of electrical symbols

  • Familiarity with electrical AC/DC

  • Experience with voltage and conduit

  • Troubleshooting and testing skills

  • Proficiency in point-to-point wiring

  • Ability to operate equipment safely – Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, overhead cranes, and other equipment as required

  • Forklift operation skills
