Position Summary: The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Manager will be responsible for the annual budget, and the Company’s forecasting process. The FP&A Manager will develop key relationships with stakeholders across the entire company, to help drive data insights. The FP&A manager will be a key contributor to many special projects throughout the finance function. The FP&A manager will continually look for ways to present financial data in an easy to digest format for numerous Company stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of all aspects of Free Cash Flow Model.

  • Partner with multiple levels of operations as the finance owner of Annual Budget Process and rolling 12-month budget.

  • Develop and maintain financial models with scenario what-if analyses.

  • Develop and maintain weekly cash flow forecast

  • Assist with management of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to include annual repurchase studies.

  • Work with independent valuation company on the annual company valuation.

  • Assist CFO with analysis of financials of potential company merger opportunities.

  • Perform due diligence analysis during due diligence phase of potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

  • Assist with management of credit facility, including responding to ad-hoc credit requests and covenant compliance.

  • Partner with accounting group on analysis needed during month close and other ad-hoc requests.

  • Identify KPI trends and recommend corrective action when necessary.

  • Develop and deliver training to operational staff on financial concepts.

  • Work closely with the accounting group on delivering easy to use information with actionable insight to board of directors and management.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience working in accounting operations for, architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) or other project based professional services company

  • 5-10 years of experience to include significant portion of public accounting experience

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

    Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
