DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Safety, Health and Environmental Engineer in our Huntington, IN, location.

What do you get to do in this position? * Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs and policies * Conduct regular facility wide inspections and audits to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations * Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and best practices * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures * Stay updated on environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure organizational compliance * Participate in the design and review of facilities and processes to ensure safety and environmental standards are met * Develop emergency response plans and participate in emergency drills and exercises

What skills and capabilities will make you successful? * Bachelor's degree in Safety, Security, Engineering, or related field. * 2-4 years of experience in safety, security, engineeiring or related field * In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in EHS * Aware of ISO environment regulations and principles, workers' compensation and injury management. * Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, State and Federal safety rules and regulations. * Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship * Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is a plus
