Job Description

Leads, plans, organizes, and evaluates vendors, construction, installations, repairs and maintenance of all facility structures, systems and equipment; the department budget; project /staff schedules. Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads and guides day-to-day operations of the facility's Engineering and Maintenance department.

  • Assists in Planning the requested, corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance and repair of the buildings and structural facilities.

  • Plans, organizes, and leads the work of the facilities maintenance crews.

  • Ensures regulations are followed in all aspects of assigned tasks.

  • Ensures all documentation of facilities preventive maintenance systems are up to date and orderly.

  • Ensures all assignments and project and meet current code compliance.

  • Conducts and attends department staff meetings.

  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, required.

  • Experience with high pressure boilers, preferred.

  • Experience with HVAC, preferred.

The salary range for this position is $62,250-$100,130/year
