ManpowerGroup Bookkeeper in Huntington, West Virginia
Calling all bookkeepers! Manpower is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to maintain financial records at a local manufacturing warehouse. These records include purchases, payroll, sales, receipts, tax returns, and payments. This is a high level position, temp-to-permanent, with a competitive salary and good benefits offered.
Responsibilities
Recording daily financial transactions, checking account records for accuracy, updating general ledger, and preparing trial balances for perusal by management.
Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance.
Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in making strategic decisions.
Run payroll, generate purchase orders, and audit invoices.
Backup customer service duties by generating sales orders.
Light typing and filing.
Maintaining a system for organizing company documents.
Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Competence in accounting systems: Great Plains experience preferred, QuickBooks experience also accepted
Attention to detail
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Experience with PNL statements
Data Entry Skills
Organized
Honest
The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents
Professional with good spelling, writing, and grammar skills
