Note: The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Hours: 5x8's, Monday-Friday, 40+ hours

  • Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers

  • Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting

  • Trouble shoot functional issues with product

  • Safely operate jib and overhead crane equipment

  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks

  • Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level

  • Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster, or other filler

  • Understanding of adhesion testing equipment to prevent paint failure

  • Assist in the paint preparation which could include: sanding, washing, and drying of product

  • Perform related work as assigned

  • Skills relating to Color Management Systems

  • Operates and utilizes lifting aids as necessary to perform work.

Qualifications:

  • High standard of integrity and professionalism

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability and desire to work as part of a team

  • The job duties require the employee to bend or stoop

  • Good communication and interaction skills

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts required

  • Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment

  • Production of quality end products in a timely fashion

  • Regular and on-time attendance; Knowledge of material and equipment prepping.

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Prior experience in the industrial field preferred

  • Prior experience using Rollers, Air spraying, Paintbrushes required

  • Position may require a drug screen
