What You Will Be Doing With US:

As Field Service Representative (FSR) you will:

  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in the realm of identifying system faults, troubleshooting those faults and implementing corrective actions to correct the faults bringing the system back to fully mission capable status.

  • Install, maintain, and repair products to include Line Replaceable Units (LRU), integrated systems and subsystems, and software at the client and/or field locations

  • Instruct customers in equipment operation

  • Provide technical assistance

  • Perform preventative maintenance

  • Demonstrate initiative in on-the-job training while working as part of a team and the desire to help train others as they progress in developing team and individual skills related to the supported systems

  • Track all system issues, corrective actions taken, preventative maintenance performed, upgrades performed, system locations, etc.

  • Troubleshoot equipment for malfunctions to minimize system down time

  • Provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Perform one or many of a wide range of installation tasks such as running cables, installing, and connecting LRUs, racks and electronic hardware systems, connecting and testing both new and retrofit subsystems, including electrical, mechanical, computers and visual

  • Install, upgrade, and removes LRUs ensuring all work is done in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures

  • Assemble, install, and configure systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics. Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process

  • Complete final fielding and integrated acceptance testing of electrical systems and associated equipment

  • Ensure the fielding and acceptance of equipment is conducted to client’s requirements and in accordance with applicable acceptance testing procedures

  • Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components

  • Travel frequently to customer sites in performance of duties

  • Primary travel will be CONUS based (some OCONUS travel could be required)

What We Need from You (Required):

  • Must be a US citizen with eh ability to obtain Secret Clearance

  • Associates degree in applicable technical field and 5+ years of experience, or high school diploma and 7+ years of experience.

  • Strong background in troubleshooting systems and subsystems

  • Relevant and recent systems and maintenance experience at the intermediate level

  • Proficient in bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes

  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work in a real-time environment

  • Ability and willingness to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to travel on short notice to support mission requirements to customer sites in performance of duties

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible work schedules by providing 24/7 support to real time mission operations

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have (preferred):

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Military background or experience in providing FSR support on military systems

  • Familiarity with MRAP family of vehicles

  • Familiarity with EOD operations

  • Class B, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Salary Range:

$29.42 - $51.49
