Description

Qualis is looking for an experienced professional to provide direct customer support with materiel release efforts, special projects, and related activities. Candidate will support U.S. Army programs on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Position requires full time support in a hybrid and/or traditional office setting. Candidate will be required to collaborate with with government and contractor staff over multiple functional disciplines, offices, and leadership levels. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to multi-task and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements

Key responsibilities shall include:

  • Provide agile materiel release support for hardware and software efforts. Oversee special projects and related tasks.
  • Track progress towards milestone objectives.
  • Follow up on progression of action items and other reportable tasks from projects.
  • Work with leads to obtain approved documentation from various government entities such as AMCOM Safety, Army Training and Doctrine Command, Army Test and Evaluation Command, AMCOM Logistics Center, etc.
  • Maintain document control, update compliance matrixes, develop presentations, and produce reports.
  • Assist in risk mitigation, identification, tracking, prioritization, management, and resolution.
  • Interact with all levels of workforce including senior executive leadership and staff.
  • Ensure actions and efforts are in accordance with AR 70-1, AR 770-3, and DA PAM 770-3.
  • Develop, coordinate, edit, and staff correspondence memorandums such as Memorandums for Record, Memorandums of Agreement or Understanding, etc. in accordance with AR 25-50.
  • Review documentation such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Materiel Fielding Plan, Plan for Materiel Release, Demilitarization and Disposal Plan, Production Risk and Readiness Review, Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, ECPs, MWOs, SOWs, CDRLS, etc.
  • Assist in ensuring the twelve Integrated Product Support elements are being considered.
  • Utilize Microsoft TEAMS for holding meetings, file sharing, and communication.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal and external team members by serving as the primary point of contact and liaison between project stakeholders.
  • Lead formal and informal meetings.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years relevant experience or Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience required
  • Materiel Release and/or Software Release experience preferred.
  • Program integration, project or logistics management experience required.
  • A transferrable DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of DoD systems acquisition and program management
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams.
