4M Research is seeking a Missile Defense Analysts for our team in Huntsville, AL.

Successful candidates are able to:

• Perform first-principles physics-based analysis to quantify the likelihood and severity of Missile Defense System (MDS) capability gaps and forecast performance of potential mitigations
• Develop analysis tools in MATLAB/Python
• Execute batches of MATLAB-based MandS runs in a high performance computing (HPC) environment and analyze the results
• Assess potential benefits and regrets of proposed solutions to capability gaps
• Present findings clearly in briefings and white papers.

Required

• BS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics
• Prior experience with the Missile Defense System (MDS), with a solid understanding of one or more of the following: missile defense radars, OPIR, battle managers, interceptors+
• Three to seven (3-7) years' experience
• Ability to code in MATLAB/Python
• Willing to learn to develop digital tools in Qlik Sense
• Active Secret clearance
