Position Overview:

TheMissile Defense System (MDS) Analystwill perform analysis of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) architecture performance in MDS Ground Tests, Flight Tests, and Continuous Developmental Integration activities. This position will be on-site with the MDA/DE team in a classified lab environment on Redstone Arsenal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the interactions between and integration of the following Missile Defense elements: Cobra Dane (CD), Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX), Army/Navy Transportable Radar Surveillance (AN/TPY-2), Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), Patriot, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), Aegis, GMD Fire Control (GFC), and Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI), Host Nation elements, and space systems.
• Support simulation integration and data analysis activities.
• Develop tools for MDS performance analysis
• Communicate and briefanalysis results directly with MDA customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM Field
• 3+ years experience (preferable experience is prior work with MDA or other DoD program)
• Strong programming skills

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of MDS elements, Objective Simulation Framework (OSF), tactical messages, and HWIL architecture infrastructure
• Experience with Python, Linux, C++, MATLAB, or Java

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance
