ARAMARK Operations Finance Specialist & Business Manager in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Description

The Operations Finance Specialist & Business Manager will work directly with the lead operator at the account and enforce procedures that ensures operational and financial targets. As an Operations Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable, tracking labor and directs, and internal control of inventories and equipment. You will also prepare summary operating reports for the client and the corporation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Highly collaborative with on-site leadership team

  • Create annual budget by re-forecasting monthly and flash weekly

  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Capital Expenditures

  • Weekly/Monthly analyze labor and directs vs plan and forecast with operators; to the leadership via regular Teams meetings and email

  • Maintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark?s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes

  • Train and develop operations team on financial acumen and policies

  • Client Communication (as applicable) ? including systems, reporting, and changes to the contract

  • Assist in operational support as needed with direction from local operational Leadership/Regional Finance Director

  • Performs regional and account related duties as directed by the Regional Finance Director

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive financial experience required, including AP/AR and P&L management; accounting background is helpful

  • Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Ability to work in a team environment on budgeting, cost controls and monthly reporting is critical.

  • Adhering to generally accepted accounting practices and observing all financial controls and processes is required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete work before deadlines are essential to your success

  • Must be organized, demonstrate initiative and have ability to diagnose current state then propose and drive process improvement

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
