Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Patriot Programs Manager for Global Patriot Central Europe FMS Companion Cases. You will be responsible for interfacing directly with PEO Missiles and Space project offices (IFMC, IFRCO, PM STARE, PM SHIELD, and SAMD) on behalf of companion programs to ensure integration and alignment between them. Additionally, you will help develop long term plans and processes relative to Global Patriot sustainment initiatives. You will also be responsible for establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution across all contracts, supporting both business and customer requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the product roadmaps/development programs for the Global Patriot product portfolio and regional customer capability needs. This role is the liaison between Global Patriot contracts for all related existing contracts, ongoing contract negotiations, capture efforts and developing new business with the Huntsville Alabama community. The Global Patriot portfolio is in various stages of developing missile defense that includes procurement, training, fielding, and sustainment. As problems involve multiple geographical sites and products, the Program Manager requires knowledge of weapon systems, country manpower, long term sustainment strategies, and experience to work with the in-country and USG military leadership to resolve training and fielding issues. This role is very complex, with responsibilities spanning multiple countries and cultures. Additional expertise required in advising customers on new products that provide value from our portfolio. This role is the primary interface in Huntsville with senior USG and MOD staff when questions arise with Global Patriot programs.

What You Will Do

  • Primary and direct interface for Global Patriot FMS support case execution efforts to achieve the LADS Annual Operating and Long-Range plans

  • Establish priorities, optimize performance and execution across all contracts, and support both business and customer requirements

  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with external customers organizations including but not limited to IFRCO, IFMC, STARE, SHIELD and SAMD

  • Lead all aspects of program execution, including meeting contractual requirements

  • Establish and maintain key program metrics, define program milestones/critical path and monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules

  • Drive tactical execution while meeting strategic objectives

  • Support the resolution of escalated program risks across the portfolio and similarly escalate as appropriate

  • Ensure that functional resources, tools, and processes are utilized in a consistent way

  • Establish and build strong customer and industry partner relationships

  • Act as empowered authority to accomplish program objectives

  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

    Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following: program management, engineering, and/or development

  • Leadership experience managing risk, cost, quality and schedule for multiple programs with domestic and international customers

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in working with USG customers: IFMC, STARE, IFRCO, SAMD and SHIELD

  • Understanding of the DoD acquisition environment and processes, along with US Army and/or other service branches programs (large programs preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience managing large/complex program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments, and resources

  • Experience leading and/or supporting large complex programs

  • Understanding of various contract types including domestic, FMS, Cost-Plus, FFP & FPIF, and how to execute within a mixed Program

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
