Position Description:

Exeter Information Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to support the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer/G6 Headquarters (HQ), located at 4505 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal (RSA), AL, provides contracting policy oversight to 100 different contracting offices and subordinate commands located world-wide. The ACC enterprise consists of over 6,200 military and civilian contracting professionals located at contracting offices across the contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Information Technology (IT) services supports ACC’s global contracting mission to the warfighters through the full spectrum of military operations.

The HQ ACC’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and G6 staff provides critical mission support services designed to enable the workforce with applicable secure technology solutions that will reduce and ultimately eliminate manual business processing and generate resource cost savings and efficiencies for the ACC enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Project Manager leads the IT Governance team of contractors in gathering, analyzing, and presenting IT investment requirements to the ACC CIO. They develop presentation materials, standard operating procedures, and other documentation pertinent to the Governance mission. The Project Manager interfaces with other divisions within the ACC G6 and keeps up to date on all Army and DoD IT policies to ensure IT solution recommendations adhere to all policies and best practices. They use strong communication skills to facilitate formal and informal discussions with the ACC enterprise user community and with senior leaders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Secret security clearance

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience with respect to IT programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, technical, and/or Business discipline or equivalent. Additional work experience may be substituted for education requirement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with portfolio management concepts and applications such as Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS) and IT Approval System (ITAS).

  • IAM Level I qualified
