Job Description Summary

Coordinates and manages projects aligned with the Credit Unions strategic plan; collaborates with project stakeholders to acquire appropriate resources; coordinates the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan and within budget.

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with employees regarding new and existing projects; creates timeline, budget and prioritization for projects across the Credit Union.
  • Coordinates the efforts of internal resources and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan and within budget.
  • Monitors project progress to ensure established deadlines and project objectives are met; suggests project plan changes to meet evolving operating conditions and organizational objectives.
  • Facilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with the development, design, and coordination of projects; oversees quality control throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Interacts with other departments and vendors to research, resolve problems and provide requested information.
  • Promotes the Credit Union by participating in community involvement and special events.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education Requirements

4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Business, Management, Finance or closely related field - Required

Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) - Preferred

Experience Requirement

3 Years - Project management experience - Required

Project management experience in a financial institution - Preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction.
  • Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.
  • Provide guidance in the resolution of complex problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience within areas of responsibility.
  • Use logic, reasoning and mathematical skills to solve practical problems and make sound decisions.
  • Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Set priorities and manage ones own time effectively.
