Position Description:

US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Quality Assurance Engineer is to help with the quality assurance process in client engagements. This includes developing and executing scripts, monitoring and adhering to test plans, collaborating with development teams, and reporting results to test leads. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test protocols to ensure that products work as intended.

• Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways of doing thing.

• Design and execute test scenarios, scripts and procedures based on manual test plans, utilizing industry standard testing methodologies or processes

• Perform all aspects of testing, taking part in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle

• Ensure that all test items follow established change management processes and are tested and tracked using the provided test management software

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, or a related field.

• Active Top-Secret clearance.

• ಊ years’ proven work experience as a Sr. QA Engineer

• Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell

• Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.

• Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript including

• Ember.js, Spring Boot, Spring, in addition to a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS

solution architecture

• Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience is required

• Experience writing software test cases/scripts, explaining test results, and analyzing requirements for testable outcomes

• Proficient in developing test cases for web applications and/or native mobile applications

• Experience working with query, requirements/configuration management, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA

• Experience identifying gaps and deficiencies in business requirements, technical specifications, designs and testing documentation for completeness and testability

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $150,200.00.
