Job Description:

M&S Consulting is looking to hire the following individuals to support upcoming opportunities within a Government Agency.  

Senior Level:

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact  assignments.

  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.

  • Evaluates performance results  and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

  • Functions  as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

  • May supervise others.

  • Minimum  of 8 years’ experience. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past  work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

    Release Train Engineer:

  • The Release Train Engineer Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators.

  • Facilitates program increment (PI) planning readiness by fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs through pre- and post-PI planning meetings.

  • Facilitates the PI planning event.

  • Assists in tracking the execution of features and capabilities.

  • Assists with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.

  • Coaches leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.

  • Helps manage risks and dependencies. 

  • Escalates and tracks impediments.

  • Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps.

  • Facilitates system demos and solution demos. 

  • Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops.

  • Assesses the agility level of the  ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.
