Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the THAAD United Arab Emirate Foreign Military Sales Program Office (THU) Lead Engineer to coordinate weapon system production, sustainment, and system modernization efforts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate weapons system component production, sustainment, and replacement either from failure, obsolescence, or system modernization.

  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Working Groups, Staff Call, and perform proposal, plan, schedule, and system performance technical evaluations.

  • Assist the THU Program Manager (PM) and Deputy PM as needed to coordinate meetings, facilitate various investigations; record Action Items, and provide Executive Summaries and Meeting Minutes.

  • Function as program Point of Contact (POC) for oversight responsibilities at various CONUS and OCONUS) locations as needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master’s Degree in STEM field with 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex programs.

  • Active Secret security clearance.

  • Experience with networked communications (radio frequency and wired) and global navigation satellite systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across DoD organizational boundaries.

  • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to include creation and presentation of briefing materials to senior-level leadership.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Understand and apply sound engineering principles related to component design, interoperability, failure investigation, and risk mitigation.

  • Experience working in a dynamic office environment alongside highly technical/experienced engineers/analysts.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
