This Systems Engineer will support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT) Weapon Systems Engineering (WSE) Design and Analysis Team. The System Engineer will report to the WSE System Analysis Manager, supporting system design and analysis for both United States Government and existing/future Foreign Military Sales contracts. The Systems Engineer will participate in system level design reviews and performance interchange meetings for future capabilities, generate ballistic missile trajectories, maintain and update system analysis scripts along with documentation and prototype models, develop/define scenarios, and execute system performance analysis & assessments for future THAAD capabilities. The Systems Engineer must be able to interact well with peers, leadership, customers, subcontractors, and must possess the ability to support technical discussions, and communicate in a clear and concise manner, as well as taking the initiative to support the WSE organizations goals.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering concepts and processes
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of overall system engineering process
• Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) design and analysis
• Medium or high fidelity simulation experience
• System performance assessment tactics
• Scripting with Python, Matlab, Unix, Linux, Shell, Bash, C++, etc...
• Ability to define and detail solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to the customer
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Knowledge of AGILE process
• Active Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
