PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Talent Acquisition Specialist conducts interviews, extends offers of employment, and refers applicants for positions throughout the Company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

  • Generate updates for companys leadership and Hiring Managers about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives.

  • Create weekly and monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics.

  • Communicate regularly with Hiring Managers and HR Director to get a clear view of companys hiring needs and organizational goals.

  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization.

  • Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.

  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.

  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.

  • Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs.

  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.

  • Conduct screenings and identify qualified candidates for interview with hiring managers.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous working experience preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 1-3 year(s).

  • Must have experience recruiting for DoD and Federal Contracts.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 4 years of recruiting experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods.

  • Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes.

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge and experience working with applicant tracking software (ATS), Workday preferred.

  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.

  • A positive, can do attitude.

  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.

  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any questions a potential hire may have.

  • Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.

  • Experience and understanding of pro-active recruiting.
