Hiring now a Production Supervisor in Huron, Ohio! As the Production you will ensure that employees are working safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will report to the Production manager. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure compliance with safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety within the team * Provide clear direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment * Oversee production activities, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently to meet production targets * Mentor and train operators on best practices, safety protocols, and operational procedures. * Ensure employees are meeting expectations with safety, production, and quality standards * Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify areas for improvement and drive positive change * Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency, quality, and safety * Analyze production metrics and reports to identify trends, address issues proactively, and implement corrective actions as needed Qualifications: * High school Diploma or equivalent education degree required. * Supervisory experience preferred. * Leadership and communication skills. * Problem-solving. * Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts. * Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. * Experience with SAP, KRONOS, and Workday is preferred. * Must be proficient with Microsoft. #LI-Onsite About us: Pittsburgh Paint Co., formerly part of PPG, is an industry leader in residential and commercial architectural coatings through its well-known portfolio of brands, including GLIDDEN, OLYMPIC, LIQUID NAILS, HOMAX, PITTSBURGH PAINTS & STAINS, Manor Hall, FLOOD, DULUX (in Canada), and SICO, among others.
