Health Advocates Network Collections Supervisor in Hurst, Texas

Health Advocates Network is * * hiring a Collection Supervisor (5 Years Exp Req) ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital * * located in Hurst, TX

  • Pay Rate:

  • Shift: Days (5x8hrs)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Length: 15-week contract

*Job Summary: * The Collection Supervisor is responsible for managing the collection process for AR Collection Project(s) and/or permanent AR Collection assignments. They perform and/or facilitate the process to interview, train, and mentor a team of collectors and track their collection activities and performance. The Supervisor facilitates and conducts bi-monthly calls with assigned clients to discuss monthly targets and AR Collection activities.

The Supervisor is responsible for all collection activity related to their assigned clients. They manage the process of research and follow-up on all outstanding insurance invoices through claim resolution to ensure timely collections within department guidelines. They ensure all activity related to collection efforts is documented thoroughly and follow best practice collection guidelines. They will analyze metrics to address trends to communicate with the client and assess strengths of team members to assist in development and allocation of resources to assure team and client success.

Collection Supervisor * * Qualification and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical collections with a working knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement; home infusion experience preferred

  • Working knowledge and application of metric measurements, basic accounting practices, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred

  • Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+/CareTend/Brightree/Kareo preferred

  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.
