Job Summary: You will be a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and forms partnerships across the HR department to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects our goals and facilitates a positive relationship. You will report to the Human Resources Supervisor.

Primary Tasks:

• You will respond to employee and manager phone inquiries of different natures, using multiple HR systems such as HRIS, Timekeeping, Pay Card, Employee Self Service.

• Advise on performance management including performance reviews and disciplinary action and terminations.

• Manage and resolve routine to mid-complex employee relations issues.

• Review performance management plans and coach management staff before discussions with associates to ensure consistency and relevance.

• You will monitor, audit and report on important metrics and responsibilities on an ongoing basis by working within HR systems.

• Participate in planning department goals and systems.

• Work with external entities in providing authorized employment information about such areas as employment verification, income verification, unemployment inquiries, and garnishment requests.

• Ensure employee Human Resources files are up to date by assisting with all source documents received into the proper system in the prescribed folder based on system established guidelines.

• You will train and provide support to HR Team members. May function in a supervisor role.

• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors' degree in Human Resources or related field or 4 years related experience.

• Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping

• Knowledge of general HR standards

• Communicate with courtesy, provide information, and maintain relationships with a diverse group

• Work discreetly with confidential information and situations and respond to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

• Two (2) years Human Resources work experience
