ECS Midwest, LLC Subsidiary Director of Facilities Services in Independence, Ohio
What You'll Do Build relationships with Facilities department managers and office managers to show support and assist in seeking out facility opportunities (facilities defined as including but not limited to building enclosure consulting, structural systems consulting, forensic investigations, field performance testing, property condition assessments (PCAs), and code compliance and consulting services Monitor and track subsidiary facility finances, marketing strategies, help, resources, standardization, and training Evaluate market opportunities, trends, and successes in other regions Maintain contact with office and facility department managers and staff to discuss importance of marketing at the local level Seek project leads and marketing opportunities Work closely with local staff and regional business development managers to track opportunities Target trade association conferences and seek out project opportunities Take the lead and coordinate regional facility opportunities Evaluate the scope of work and assign the appropriate personnel to complete the tasks Coordinate resources to execute work Respond and assist with finding resources to support projects Ensure that proposals and SOQ's are submitted by each deadline Promote team work and the company-wide facilities resources available Monitor and review the current and projected workload to ensure that the current staff level is appropriate, including number of staff, experience level, and technical knowledge What We're Looking For B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred 15+ years of related experience; 10+ years in a supervisory role Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE), or Registered Architect (RA) or ability to obtain within six months Who We Are ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
