Title: Team Lead, Cloud Engineering (Federal) Location: United States; Remote, EST or CST Experience: Mid-Senior Level Job Function: Cloud Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Computer Network & Security About the position Keyfactor offers products and solutions designed to meet the unique certificate lifecycle management challenges of government clients and contractors. As the Team Lead, Cloud Engineering, you'll play a key role in the development and implementation of the technical roadmap and guiding the Federal Cloud Engineering Team to provide operational support for federal solutions hosted in the cloud. Because Customers are Core, everything that this position does should be focused on improving the customer experience. Your leadership will be responsible for ensuring platform and product availability to meet contractual SLAs, optimizing hosted platform performance, and enforcing security measures in accordance with NIST standards, and governed by the Keyfactor Federal Compliance Team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our teams are putting their best foot forward because they know that they are valued and their impact on our customer experience is incredibly important. This is a remote-based role. Applicants must reside in the United States and be a US Citizen. Responsibilities Oversee and implement systems to rapidly train and upskill team members to further their careers and add value to the organization. Build and configure complex cloud-hosted federal solutions. Optimize system performance, troubleshoot system problems, and analyze issues of a highly technical nature. Secure and harden hosted solutions. Familiar with STIG guidelines and configuration. Maintain hosted solutions including server upgrades and patching. Collaborate with Architecture teams to design and implement hosted solutions. Develop platform and systems training to build the knowledge base among members of the Cloud Engineering Team. Document current systems and draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Facilitate product testing for future application version deployments to our hosted environments. Troubleshoot application/database performance issues related to connectivity, access, and security. Monitor infrastructure and product availability to meet or exceed SLA commitments. Skills and Qualifications Experience with architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform. (5 or more years) Subject Matter Expert with the use automation tools like Bicep, Terraform, etc. Subject Matter Expert with the use of configuration tools like DSC, Ansible, etc. Subject Matter Expert with the configuration and management of container infrastructure like Azure Kubernetes. Proficient in Systems Administration including Windows OS, Linux OS, IIS, and Active Directory (4 or more years). Proficient with PowerShell. Experience managing code with Git or other repositories. Proficient with the use of SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel. Possesses
