department objectives regarding processing of materials, contributing to overall division growth and profitability. Adheres and enforces all safety policies. Ensures the efficient flow of product through the stockroom process in a timely manner. And conform to all quality requirements.At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure stockroom team is completing tasks successfully according to company standards.

• Ensure that the customer/supplier requirements are communicated throughout theStockroom.

• Reporting requirements completed daily, weekly, and monthly.

• Maintains optimum utilization of human resources.

• Ensure team partners receive and complete all educational requirements for their roles.

• Provides cross-training opportunities for team partners in the Stockroom.

• Create positive atmosphere by treating employees with dignity, respect and soliciting theirfeedback.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and procedures to maximizeefficiencies and profit.

• Minimize labor costs through goal setting, scheduling, work-flow controls and continuouscollaboration with team partners.

• Control merchandise costs by adherence to proper processing, merchandise purchasinggoals, and procedures.

• Participate in attainment of location growth goals.

• Maintains compliance; federal, state and local.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate background or equivalent experience is preferred

• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and propose solutions.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret organizational production reports.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic math skills.
