Raytheon is currently seeking a AF MTS Field Service Site Lead to provide technical field support at Creech AFB, NV and be the primary point of contact for all maintenance squadrons and Raytheon FSR's on site.

What You Will Do

  • report directly to the Field Manager about site operations, FSR scheduling, customer interactions, provide training to FSR's on site .

  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues.

  • Work with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.

  • Represent Raytheon as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer schedules are met.

What You Will Learn

  • Conducting technical analysis of product functionality, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications and configuration.

  • Working with infrared, electro-optical weapons systems using conventional electronic troubleshooting techniques.

  • Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional leadership roles and at times work with little or no direct supervision and is the point of contact to Raytheon program management.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 6 years of prior engineering experience.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience troubleshooting/operational checkout of the FLIR/MTS system.

  • Must be experienced with the tools and test equipment used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with maintaining and using the Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) system or other airborne FLIR/MTS system is a plus.

  • General Atomics MQ-9 Aircraft and Ground Control System (GCS) experience is preferred.

  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
