Located in Lawrence, the Indianapolis plant focuses on multi-step processing of components and welded fabrications for long-term OEM partners, including manufacturers in the aerial lift, lift truck and rail industries. Our Indianapolis facility is ISO certified and has burning machines, laser cutters, CNC mills, saws, manual welding and robotic welders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support via web chat, phone and/or email.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and recording keeping regarding E-Commerce sales.

  • Expedite and follow up on orders in collaboration with sales representatives.

  • Direct incoming customer calls to the appropriate individual or department to resolve problems or complaints.

  • Provide support to the sales staff in its effort to give customers the best possible quality and service.

  • Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.

  • Analyze and evaluate customer prints and specifications to determine best production methods considering cost and quality.

  • Learn, apply, and promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of O’Neal Manufacturing Services.

  • Prepare new business proposals using the OMS cost estimating and quoting tools.

  • Coordinate or lead cost estimating activities with Manufacturing Analyst, Engineering or Plant Management.

  • Manage any breakdown in customer communications.

  • Communicate to the organization significant developments with customers, markets or industries.

  • May assist or lead in creating formal presentations to customers.

  • May assist or lead in the preparation and organization of the information needed to conduct the planned business review meetings with customers.

  • Assist others, as needed, in the development of new business with existing customers.

  • Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel may be required occasionally.

  • Plan and schedule customer visits as needed to accomplish these duties and responsibilities.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles used in the pricing strategies.

  • Engage effectively in technical discussion with internal associates or our client’s personnel.

  • Understand the financial performance of the division.

  • Work collaboratively with collections specialists to resolve payments outside of terms.

  • Work with management to determine appropriate pricing levels for assigned accounts.

  • Assure that accurate forecast data is entered ERP and/or S&OP

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Experience in using Microsoft office applications.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Hours: 7:00AM- 4:00PM Monday-Friday
