* HIRING - APPLICATION ENGINEER *

Job Description

The Defense Product Integration Team is responsible for supporting new applications of the family of products. When a customer requests a specific functionality or feature within the product, this team works hard to meet that customer's request. This team is responsible for working with the customer on the end-to-end solutioning of that request, from the design phase through implementation of the product. The selected engineer will work with internal teams to determine which solution should be presented to the customer, address potential issues or impacts, and may travel to customer locations (up to 25% of the time) to troubleshoot or work through integration features on the product.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assess program opportunity requirements in support of technical solution development

• Use developed software to develop vehicle predictive performance

• Work directly with internal and external customers to develop and execute project plans

• Create, optimize, and validate product calibrations

• Diagnose and address product findings

• Prepare technical data such as interface control documents, test procedures, performance specifications, and assist in product manual creation

Experience:

• Bachelors of Engineering

• 2+ years of Engineering Experience Post-Graduation (Open to Dicipline & Experience)

• Strong Communication Skills

• Strong Mechanical Knowledge & Analytical Experience (Powertrain / Drivetrain knowledge is a Plus!)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

Travel up to 25% of the time to customer locations for installation reviews and product tests.
