EXPECTED ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $55,980 to $87,000

GPS LEVEL: P2

JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Project Manager Client Delivery is responsible for the oversight of the more

complex day-to-day administration and organization of client projects (working closely with the

Project Management leadership team) to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within

budget and according to the agreed upon scope of work. The Associate Project Manager will

interact with client and internal teams to ensure effective and efficient operational execution of

projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment, and information to support client and Company for project/service solutions

  • Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements and objectives

  • Prepares project related and monthly financial reports

  • Monitors project progress and handle issues as they arise

  • Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all project members

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

  • Provides back-up coverage/support for Project Manager

  • Ensures standards and requirements of the project are met

  • Schedules and attends meetings with clients

  • With support from Project Management leaders, demos the technology in proposed solutions to clients and others, where applicable

  • Works with client for change orders as required for the lifecycle of the project

  • Assists with anticipating, investigating, and answering clients’ questions and feedback

  • Supports and helps troubleshoot delivered work during project and post-project

  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • CAPM Certification desired

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Exposure to project management team environment required. Must have at least one (1) year of experience supporting external client facing projects or programs.

  • Knowledge of financial management a plus

  • Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.

  • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.

  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail skills required.

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project and the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations using these tools.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5% - 10%
