What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for providing students with individual career transition services and work-based learning opportunities in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

1. Develop a career transition plan for assigned students and monitor progress of assigned students

2. Assist assigned students with individual career selection and assess student workplace readiness; provide labor market information on geographical areas of interest

3. Participate in job development committee assessments

4. Provide referral or post separation services as needed.

5. Identify potential jobs, schools, military, or other training program career development for separating graduates. Compile required data from respective areas in order to prepare student’s resume and placement documents.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree and 2 years related experience

• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements

• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
