Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Shift: 8pm-4:30am

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrician for our plant on the west side. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment such as 3-phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensors. The position involves using tools and equipment to complete tasks such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, and replacing conduit fittings and junction boxes. Additionally, the Electrician will conduct monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facility. The ability to draw, read, and interpret electrical diagrams is preferred. Training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals with a trade school education and some working experience in electrical work.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment such as 3-phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensors.

  • Use tools and equipment to cut, thread, bend conduit, and replace conduit fittings and junction boxes.

  • Conduct monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facility.

  • Draw, read, and interpret electrical diagrams.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation with other electricians on site.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to wire a 3-phase motor.

  • Experience with calibrating electrical equipment.

  • Ability to bend conduit of various types and sizes.

  • Experience working with industrial equipment.

  • Experience working with voltages from 24V to 480V.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • General electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Comfort working in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dirty environments).

  • Experience working around hazardous materials.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
