• Performs protocols and procedures as written

• Operates fermentation and/or bioreactor systems of varying scale

• Bioreactor setup, media fill, sampling, feeding and cleanup

• Performs in-process testing of bioreactor and fermentor samples

• Aseptic handling of biological material in a biosafety cabinet

• Maintains day to day schedule of activities that support experiment protocols

• Provides clear and accurate records of activities and results

• Adheres to all safety and environmental guidelines

• Promotes safety and environmental compliance in all areas

• Experience with cell culture maintenance and harvesting

• AAV support

• Electronic lab notebook documentation

• At least 1 year experience in the lab setting

• Strong aseptic technique

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

• Experience in molecular and cell biology lab techniques

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

• Proficiency in IT related skills such as Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint etc   

• Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of  Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
