Job Title: INDOT Project SupervisorJob Description

We have an immediate need for an INDOT Project Supervisor to join our team. This role has opened due to a backlog of work and the pursuit of more prime projects. The INDOT Project Supervisor will oversee various INDOT related projects, ensuring construction plans and specifications are followed. The position is located in the Northern part of Indiana, ideally between LaPorte and Fort Wayne. You will be responsible for managing and inspecting the work of construction contractors, maintaining logs in SiteManager, and ensuring compliance with design standards and specifications.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years of INDOT Project Supervisor experience (less experience considered for degreed candidates)

• 6/6 INDOT certifications OR Civil Engineering Degree OR Construction Management Degree

• Professional experience using Site Manager

Soft Skills

• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships

• Effective communication and coordination with construction contractors' staff

• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and shop drawings

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

The construction project supervisors will be working outside in various weather conditions. They will work either out of their truck or out of a field office trailer. Mileage will be paid door to door from the candidate's house at .67 cents/mile. If required by the project, a company vehicle will be provided for the duration of the project. This is a hands-off inspection position focused on visual inspection.
