    Role Overview:

    This individual has responsibility for overseeing a departmental-wide software implementation and/or a portfolio of assigned key departmental applications. Your role will be to advocate for and ensure a successful implementation, wide-spread adoption, and effective use of the application, while planning for ongoing maintenance activities. You may be responsible for developing appropriate project plans; managing other project managers on the team; and/or overseeing and partnering with third-party vendors who may bear this responsibility. You’ll need to be strategic in how you engage our business units, but detail oriented to ensure all tasks are identified and completed.

    Salary Statement:

    The salary for this position traditionally starts at $93,002.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.

  • Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.

  • Define users and project team member’s roles and responsibilities on the project.

  • Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.

  • Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.

  • Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE).

  • Five (5) years of experience in project management.

  • Must possess the Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Thorough knowledge of project cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, funding and estimation of resources.

  • Thorough knowledge and application of project management theories and practices.

  • Extensive knowledge of the information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft products: Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.

  • Ability to lead project team by encouraging and influencing others to perform.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to develop and implement training of project management theories and methodology.

You must satisfy the following requirements to continue employment:

  • Familiarity with the different divisions of IOT for successful project management.

  • Must be willing to complete ongoing training and education.​​

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group.
