About this role

The Indianapolis RLCA lab is seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the Summer of 2025. The Carrier internship experience offers an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. You will learn and apply skills in mechanical engineering, HVAC, CAD and mechanical design.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering software such as CAD design and LabView

  • Assist and work closely with lab personnel to execute laboratory projects.

  • Assist in CAPEX projects and facility design

  • Required Qualifications.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Technology

  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, LabView and CAD coursework or previous internships preferred.

  • Self-driven and proactive

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects.
