EMSL Analytical Inc. Laboratory Administrative Coordinator in Indianapolis, Indiana

EMSL is seeking a Laboratory Administrative Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. This is an administrative support position for the laboratory manager and the analysts. It will oversee the shipping, receiving, distributing, and logging in of samples.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receive environmental samples and enter Chain of Custody into LIMS systemAccepts shipping and handling items received by the laboratory from clientsMail reports and invoices to clientsDistribute samples to analysts once logged into LIMS systemReview paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctnessInspect samples to ensure sample integrity is retained and that the packaging is not compromisedMake sure all samples are placed in the proper storage area to await analysisGenerate analytical reports and enter data produced by analysts into the computer system for the production of the final, client ready reportEnsure the final report is prepared within the required time frame and that the results are reported to the client in a timely mannerCreate and file final reports and invoicesCreate new job/projects using proprietary database softwareAnswer high volume phone calls and interface with clientsAssist with customer service client questions via phone and e-mailAct as a liaison between clients and laboratory staffClerical duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, assisting clients, scanning, and mailing as necessaryRequirements:High School Degree or equivalentTwo to Three Years Office, Customer Service, Call Center experience requiredScience Background is desirable i.e. science education background or laboratory experienceMust have excellent computer skillsMust be proficient in MS Office especially Excel and typingMust have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clienteleWilling and able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-taskMust be able to prioritize work assignmentsMust be organized and have attention to detailMust be able to stand and sit for various lengths of timeAvailable Shift:Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Training schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.For consideration all applicants must apply through our company website: https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=EMSL&cws=40&rid=4399EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and FSATo find out more about EMSL Analytical, Inc. please visit our website at: www.emsl.comEOE including Veterans and Disabled
