Lilly Senior Director, Transfer Pricing Forecasting and Reporting in Indianapolis, Indiana

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director to join our Transfer Pricing Forecasting and Reporting team. In this crucial position, you will be responsible for leading the transfer pricing forecasting and reporting processes. This includes managing Lilly's global transfer pricing methodology, defending transfer pricing policies during tax audits, integrating business development transactions concerning transfer pricing, and handling transfer pricing documentation. The individual in this role will engage extensively with business partners, oversee a team, and work in conjunction with external advisors.

Key objectives:

  • Maintain the integrity of Lilly’s global transfer pricing system

  • Develop and implement global transfer pricing policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Oversee transfer pricing forecasts and accounting processes, including the development of new processes to adapt to business changes and expansion

  • Manage transfer pricing documentation to meet the requirements of both tax and financial reporting

  • Lead planning processes, including ongoing evaluation and financial analysis

  • Support defense of transfer pricing positions for tax audits

  • Integrate business development transactions into transfer pricing processes

  • Oversee preparation of supporting financial analysis to enable decision making

  • Monitor transfer pricing case law and legislation

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • 10 years minimum of corporate or public accounting income tax experience

  • Experience in transfer pricing or international tax

  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Supervision experience

  • Knowledge of global transfer pricing laws

  • SAP experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • Business partnering skills

Additional Information:

  • Limited travel required, less than 10%

  • Conference calls outside of core business hours will be required
