Summary

The Senior Learning & Development Analyst spearheads the advancement of our L&D initiatives through data analysis and strategic reporting. Central to refining learning outcomes and operational efficiency, this role expertly navigates PowerBI, automation, and system integrations to ensure actionable insights guide our L&D strategies. This position is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced PowerBI dashboards to support L&D objectives, ensuring they provide actionable insights and are user-friendly.

  • Forge strong relationships with external departments to ensure seamless access to and validation of L&D-relevant data, leveraging your expertise to enhance data quality and utility.

  • Attain and maintain expert knowledge of all data sources impacting L&D, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), department-created forms, and other platforms, ensuring comprehensive coverage of learning analytics.

  • Utilize advanced data analytics skills to produce detailed, timely learning performance reports using Power BI and other tools, supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate with IT and analytics teams across the organization to integrate and maintain L&D reports, ensuring alignment with broader data strategies.

  • Collaborate with L&D senior leadership to define and track KPIs critical for assessing and enhancing the impact of training programs.

  • Proactively identify, communicate, and address strategic challenges, positioning the L&D department for success in achieving its business objectives.

  • Champion the transition from basic reporting to sophisticated analysis and monitoring, elevating the organization's approach to L&D performance metrics.

  • Innovate and implement automation solutions to reduce the administrative workload on L&D staff, utilizing SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, among others.

  • Design and maintain custom APIs for efficient integration between various L&D tools and systems, with a strong focus on utilizing Python for development.

  • Regularly evaluate and optimize L&D processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Data Modeling

  • 2 years of experience in Learning Management Systems, preferably Docebo

  • Ability to travel around the United States 10% of the time

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, SQL, DAX

  • Solid understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning & development tools

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proven success in collaboration with IT departments and external partners

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Innovative and forward-thinking mindset, oriented towards continuous improvement and driving innovation in L&D
