Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying invoices for accuracy, auditing expense reports, reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, researching vendor inquiries, and handling stale dated checks as part of the escheatment process. Additionally, you will collect vendor information for setup (W9, ACH information, etc.), assist with month-end close activities, and provide additional support as needed.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience using an automated AP solution

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Knowledge of JDE and/or SAP

  • Knowledge of Certify and/or Concur expense solutions

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines

  • Good organizational skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Irvine, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role requires a high level of accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines. Multitasking and organizational skills are essential to successfully manage various tasks. The work environment supports growth and offers opportunities to contribute to important financial operations.
