Robert Half Financial Reporting Manager in Irvine, California
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Financial Reporting Manager based in Irvine, California, United States. The incumbent will have a key role in the financial sector, managing activities related to buy and sell transactions on dental office partnerships, regional financial equity transactions, and GAAP reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage regional consolidated GAAP financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Oversee and prepare all buy and sell partnership transactions and new region establishments.
• Review and manage capital receivable accounts across regions.
• Lead the interpretation and application of GAAP accounting standards and pronouncements, preparing technical memorandums.
• Provide financial support and advice across the transaction cycle, managing financial transaction risk, and enhancing office value.
• Analyze financial performance at all levels and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Establish internal controls and audit expectations, ensuring accuracy of partnership transaction and receivable accounts.
• Act as an independent advisor to the business, managing relationships with external detail oriented advisors.
• Assist the company with annual audits and provide financial training to new regional leaders. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of BlackLine and EPS systems
• Ability to use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Auditing skills
• Understanding of Balance Sheet Account operations
• Experience in Budget Processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of financial reporting regulations and standards
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Manager or similar role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
