Job Title: Interior Design Project ManagerJob Description
This position leverages interpersonal skills and extensive interior and architecture experience to deliver exceptional client work. The Project Manager will lead all design phases of their team’s projects, possess strong technical knowledge, and be familiar with project phasing, budgets, and delivery. Outstanding customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
Develop test fits and space plans.
Implement and manage the design process.
Understand project-related MEP and structural engineering, as well as vendor scope of work and related coordination.
Support real estate transactions by understanding the lease transaction process.
Deploy resources to ensure smooth design process flow.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with open communication and integrity.
Clearly express ideas and project management updates in writing and verbally.
Drive business with excellent customer service and quality control.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, engineers, consultants, contractors, construction managers, and clients.
Act as the primary liaison between the team and the client to bring the design, schedule, budget, and scope of work to completion.
Perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
May directly supervise up to six employees on a team.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff in the department.
Plan, assign, and direct the team’s project work.
Provide constructive and timely performance assessments for team members.
Possess strong conflict management and resolution skills.

Work Environment
High volume Interiors firm. Office Layout: Open floor plan with no cubicle walls, inclusive environment. Leadership sits in the main area. Amenities: Full kitchen, conference rooms, 'Wine Down Fridays' with food and drinks, monthly chair massages, and summer half-day Fridays. Training and Development: Firm-wide training to standardize practices, career path development meetings to support employee growth. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position may require up to 5% local travel. Limited travel may include attending meetings and work sessions in other offices, client offices, or job sites. Mileage will be reimbursed at predetermined market rate. Individual must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and have reliable transportation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00
