The NPI PLAN Analyst will be responsible for leading and supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities, interfacing between NPI Core teams and the rest of supply chain. This position will support planning activities and processes to ensure the timely launch of both NPI and new variant products. The NPI Analyst would facilitating clear communication between Global Strategic Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain, and plays a crucial role in aligning and documenting forecast, yield, and capacity assumptions, ensuring that all teams are on the same page. An effective NPI PLAN Analyst would provide and update supply chain analytics and dashboards related to upcoming NPIs, calling out risks and facilitating cross-functional meetings to documents minutes, and follow up on mitigation actions. This role is responsible for supporting the E2E NPI process and master data setup, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NPI plan lead in E2E planning activities related to new product introduction, including, but not limited to: system setup, raw material purchasing, customs registration, demand planning, scenario planning, capacity management, reporting, etc.

  • Process and track change orders in product lifecycle management (PLM) system to support setup of new products and variants to allow for on-time launch.

  • Act as department data lead to load and manage master data in ERP system for new/existing products.

  • Manage and run reports to support business needs as required.

  • Maintains the necessary interaction with internal people and representatives of other external organizations to comply with the needs, goals, and objectives of the business.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Engage with suppliers throughout the development process, communicate net requirements, ensure ample capacity, and manage timelines to support launch readiness.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis, including scenario planning to support decision making related to all aspects of E2E supply chain planning.

  • Support continuous improvement and enable team members to initiate and lead improvement projects.

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, Science, or related subject area is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of combined work experience in operations, supply chain, project management.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of planning principles and practices, and procedures.

  • Previous experience in demand management, inventory, supply network planning, financial planning, and/or supply planning.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Analytical/quantitative skills are required and must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • High sense of urgency and adaptability to changing priorities.

  • Attention to detail and strong follow-through.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • ERP system knowledge and understanding. (Manugistics Blue Yonder planning, JDE, or SAP experience).

  • Experience in a regulated industry in supply chain, operations, finance, and/or marketing.

  • Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field

  • Six Sigma and/or LEAN Green Belt and APICS certifications.

Other:

  • Travel requirement: Up to 10% national and occasional international travel may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 61000 to 97750. California Bay Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is 71000 to 112412.5.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
