Insight Global Operational Excellence Manager in Irvine, California

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a technical engineering professional to support a large life sciences company in 6 month contract with the high possibility of full-time hire by February 2025. This individual will be supporting 2 senior level directors within their base business initiatives for a specific medical device franchise. This person will need to be available to work on-site 2-3 days per week in Irvine and have the ability to come on-site for senior leadership meetings as needed. The pay for this role ranges from $50-$70/hr based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

5-7+ years within operational, process, or business excellence

Engineering specific discipline experience (Industrial preferred)

Certification in one of the following: Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Methodology

In-depth manufacturing knowledge is required. A Six Sigma Green Belt is required, a Certified Black Belt is preferred.

Experience in other total quality management methods such as re-engineering, problem

solving, project management, etc. is preferred.

An in-depth understanding of accounting (standard cost), QSR/ISO requirements, trend

analysis and failure rate analysis is preferred.

An in-depth understanding of production and quality control techniques such as CFM,

JIT, TQM, CIM is preferred.

Ability to read blueprints schematics and drawings is preferred. null
