Job Description

Acoustics (BAW) NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer

This Acoustics NPI Engineer position will be working as a core team member of the product engineering team to bring Skyworks' bulk acoustic wave technologies into high volume manufacturing. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams (design, process, test, manufacturing). You will also need to handle multiple development projects simultaneously. This position includes responsibility for both product development and product ramp and includes limited travel.

Responsibilities:

Inline and electrical data analysis

Definition of process control methods and specifications

Creating and managing filter product documentation

Providing filter product development support which involves interfacing with Design, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering and others

Driving cost reduction activities such as second source qualification, yield enhancement, test time reduction, etc.

Job Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Highly prefer experience in SAW or BAW filter design for RF front end modules.

Prefer experience in semiconductor or similar electronics manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have a good understanding of RF parameters.

Must possess strong data analysis skills and the ability to debug production and development issues.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
