Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Accounting based in Irvine, California. This role primarily focuses on the financial aspects of our organization, including processing financial reports, overseeing accounting functions, and managing relationships with partners and investors in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze various financial reports, joint venture agreements, private placement memorandums, third-party reports, and legal documents.

• Demonstrate proficiency in valuation modeling and financial underwriting, including multi-tier waterfalls.

• Utilize excellent people management and leadership skills to oversee the internal and third-party staff, manage workloads, performance assessments, training, hiring, discipline, and development.

• Exhibit strong project management skills, with a focus on meeting tight timelines and deadlines.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with executives, investors, and institutional partners.

• Foster good customer service and maintain the quality of assets by working effectively in relationship management teams.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for various tasks.

• Leverage knowledge and experience with financial accounting in commercial real estate reporting and budgeting.

• Develop and implement annual budgets and conduct auditing.

• Use various accounting software systems and ERP solutions effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Vice President of Accounting or a related senior-level position in accounting or finance.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, Concur, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Extensive knowledge of ERP Solutions and 'About Time' software.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee Accounting Functions within a large organization.

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting and the ability to prepare an Annual Budget.

• Experience in conducting Auditing processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other departments and stakeholders.

• A relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification would be highly advantageous.

• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and ethical standards.
