Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Bid and Proposals Professional to support the Airport Logistics Business at our Irving location.

This position will be responsible for bid management and proposal development of Baggage Handling System (BHS) Systems Project and Customer Service Project pursuits within the Airport Logistics Business. The ideal candidate should have a strong, working knowledge and experience within the baggage handling, automated material handling, or industrial construction markets. They must be able to review plans and specifications to convey project requirements, facilitate document reviews, and assist with preliminary budget exercises as requested. They must be able to align sales, engineering, operations, finance, and senior management to effectively progress bids from receipt to internal approval onto final client delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Management of Bid and Proposal Process for large BHS construction and customer service programs

• Coordination of internal bid approval and final client proposal creation

• Cooperation with front end business development and sales team to develop bid strategies and help manage resources to complete each bid on time.

• Ability to multitask as the position will require working on multiple bid efforts at a time.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite

• BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas

• BHS/Material Handling/Industrial Construction bidding experience (preferred)

• Design/Build Experience (preferred)

• M/WBE or DBE construction requirements expertise (preferred)

• Typically 4+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

• The pay range for this position is $110,000- $135,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
