Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller based in Irving, Texas, 75063, United States. The role is central to managing financial operations within a dynamic and customer-oriented setting, ensuring the accuracy of reporting and maintaining robust financial controls.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, upholding compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Ensure accuracy in financial records through meticulous maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger and management of journal entries.

• Play an integral role in strategic planning and decision-making by developing and managing budgets, performing financial forecasting, and analyzing variances.

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments, to guarantee timely and accurate transactions.

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.

• Collaborate with external auditors, prepare necessary documentation, and assist with the annual audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Lead and mentor the accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and team effectiveness.

• Utilize technology and accounting software to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of auditing procedures and practices

• Familiarity with budget processes and their management

• Ability to manage and maintain a general ledger

• Experience in audit preparation and execution

• Expertise in acquisitions and acquisition integration

• Experience in private equity operations and transactions

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in using accounting software and systems

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Relevant certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be an advantage.
